Singapore International Schools are centres of excellence.

Students have the opportunity to experience high-quality international study programmes which help to challenge their intellectual curiosity and prepare them for careers beyond school and for admission to universities across the world.

Nurturing young minds is a critical part of curriculum and the Singapore International Schools strongly believe in extending a student’s development beyond study content to out of class activities where the whole child can be encouraged and supported.  To support a well rounded education Singapore International School organises a variety of co-curricular activities, for all age groups, through its after school clubs.

Each Singapore International School coordinates clubs according to its staff expertise and student interests. Some clubs run regularly and others are offered at different times of the year. Depending on the age of the child, sports fanatics can join touch rugby, karate, table tennis, football, yoga, or fitness clubs. These clubs help to develop healthy bodies and alert minds, both necessary for study. Together with social and team work skills sporting clubs also help students develop ways to resolve conflict.

Students who are passionate about performing can join a range of music clubs with a focus on singing, hip hop, guitar, organ, violin or rock.  Art clubs encourage creativity, self expression and the self discipline to complete an exhibit.  For those students who like to speak about interesting and difficult topics, the Toastmasters’ Club, with its origins in the world’s best known public-speaking club from the USA, provides its members with internationally recognised certificates of achievement. Story writing using interactive boards is popular with younger children and they also enjoy cooking, dancing, robot making and creative writing.
