UPM Raflatac is aiming to provide a more convenient service for customers in northern regions |
The investment will expand the company’s operations in the north of the country, enabling it to significantly reduce its delivery times.
It is hoping to set global standards by developing smarter labelling solutions that are not reliant on plastics.
“The new logistics hub will meet the growing demands for packaging and sustainable labelling,” said Thanh Nguyen, general director of UPM Raflatac Vietnam. “The project is a cornerstone in the company’s plan to expand its operations in the north over the next few years.”
With the new site, it will be able to provide better customer care for printing and labelling companies, reducing delivery times for orders placed before noon to only one day. Previously, this process took six days by train or truck from the southern province of Dong Nai.
All material rolls will be prepared to order and examined, allowing orders to be met immediately.
UPM Raflatac also has businesses in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, Brunei, and Cambodia.
