Hoi An, Phong Nha and Ninh Binh have been named the top 3 most welcoming cities in Vietnam by the 12th annual Traveller Review Awards.

The awards aim to help travellers enjoy the most welcoming experiences possible for an unforgettable trip, and this year 11,362 accommodation partners have been rated in Vietnam for their service and hospitality.

Hoi An tops the list followed by Phong Nha and Ninh Binh

These partners received over 1,244,000 reviews with an average review score of 8.9 out of 10. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, the ancient city of Hoi An has been named as the Most Welcoming City in Vietnam. Phong Nha, known as an adventurer's paradise, and Ninh Binh, with its majestic natural wonders, took 2^nd and 3^rd spots.

For the seventh year in a row, Italy had the highest number of award recipients (181,012), followed by Spain (125,611), France (124,361), Germany (86,910), and the United Kingdom (74,754).
