The agreement was signed on March 16 in Hanoi. The project will have a capacity of 91.5MWp of rooftop solar combined with a 185MWh battery energy storage system (BESS), marking a significant step in the two companies' long-standing cooperation in renewable energy.
The financing package will fully support SolarBK's development of one of Vietnam's largest rooftop solar projects integrated with battery energy storage. The project is expected to optimise energy consumption, improve grid flexibility, and support businesses in their transition towards greener operations.
The integrated BESS will enable electricity generated during peak production periods to be stored and dispatched when demand rises, enhancing operational efficiency, easing pressure on the power grid, and improving economic returns for electricity users.

The latest agreement builds on an established partnership between SolarBK and TPBank Ba Dinh across both commercial and residential solar segments. The two companies have worked together before on industrial-scale projects for customers including LEGO, PRIME Group, AllianceOne, and Crystal, while also offering financing programmes such as zero-interest solar loans for residential customers.
Their cooperation has strengthened through the successful delivery of multiple projects, underpinned by mutual trust, implementation capability, and a shared commitment to advancing Vietnam's clean energy transition.
Under the new partnership, TPBank Ba Dinh will act as the project's financial partner, supporting SolarBK in structuring financing solutions and arranging capital for the entire investment.

The financing commitment reflects growing confidence from the financial sector in SolarBK's project development model, execution capability, and track record in renewable energy. It also highlights the increasing maturity of Vietnam's clean energy market, where technology, project execution, and financing are becoming more closely integrated to deliver bankable large-scale projects.
With two decades of experience in renewable energy, SolarBK continues to expand its portfolio of utility-scale and commercial solar projects while integrating advanced technologies, including battery energy storage, remote monitoring, and intelligent energy management systems to improve efficiency and system resilience.
The partnership is expected to accelerate the deployment of large-scale clean energy infrastructure while demonstrating the ability of Vietnamese companies and financial institutions to jointly develop projects that meet international standards. It is also anticipated to serve as a model for future collaboration between renewable energy developers and financial institutions, supporting the continued growth of Vietnam's clean energy market.
