On November 25-26, at Truc Lam-Yen Tu Cultural Centre (Quang Ninh province), the ceremony in memory of the 711-year anniversary of Emperor Tran Nhan Tong entering nirvana will be co-chaired by the Central Committee of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha (VBS) and the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province, co-organised by the provincial VBS Executive Board and Tung Lam Development JSC.

The journey towards the ceremony in memory of 711 years anniversary of Emperor Tran Nhan Tong entering nirvana is also the journey inward, enlightening oneself. Along with the journey of pursuing happiness, there is always another silent journey, the path of enlightenment in goodness in everyone’s mind.

During the ceremony, pilgrims will have the opportunity to attend a range of religious memorial activities and learn about the life of Vietnam's Buddhist King-Monk Tran Nhan Tong.

Welcoming guests to the grand ceremony to Truc Lam-Yen Tu ancestral land, Quang Ninh People's Committee offers guests free sightseeing in the Complex of Yen Tu Monuments and Landscape on November 25 (at night) and 26.

During the event, Tung Lam Development JSC also supports guests with 50 per cent of the price of cable car tickets. Guests who are monks, war invalids, the elderly aged 70 and above, and children under six years old can still enjoy cable car service for free as usual.

For accommodations, guests can choose to stay at Legacy Yen Tu – MGallery or Yen Tu Village to fully enjoy the holy occasion, with favourable packages for the guests during these two days. At Legacy Yen Tu, guests are offered a package of VND4.7 million ($204.35) (one room for two adults), including one night stay at the Superior room, two-way cable car ticket to Hoa Yen pagoda, and free sightseeing entrance, dinner buffet and soft drinks, morning buffet and late-night snacks, and many more to come. At Yen Tu Village, guests can have a distinctive experience by staying inside a cocoon room for VND815,000 ($35.43) per adult including one night of stay, two-way cable car ticket to Hoa Yen pagoda, and two main meals (complimentary vegetarian or non-vegetarian dishes).

The two restaurants – Com Que Lang Nuong and Com Chay Lang Nuong – will serve unique speciality dishes, with macrobiotic vegetarian foods. Pilgrims to Yen Tu on this occasion can also experience craft village culture and other traditional musical shows.
