"It’s all Greek to me" is going on its third season. Hotel Equatorial Ho Chi Minh City is delighted to welcome back the talented celebrity Greek-Australian guest chef, George Diakomichalis, who will be showcasing traditional Greek cuisine for four days.

George, who just recently bagged the Best Pastries Chef of Australia 2019, is a fourth-generation chef in his family. He was born with infectious energy and has a bright welcoming smile. Renowned for the quality of his pastries and impeccable hospitality, he is the personification of popularity. His passion for desserts saw him open Adelaide’s Kalymnos Pastries, often cited as South Australia’s best patisserie, in 1995 and his entertaining, friendly, and informative presenting style has landed him guest spots on a variety of TV shows including Meraki TV, as well as his own show “It’s All Greek to Me.”

Returning to Ho Chi Minh City this year, George Diakomichalis brings his passion to host a culinary journey to the lovers of Greek cuisine on November 7-10. Greece is not only famous for its mythology and coasts but is also known for its tasty and flavoursome dishes. George’s menu reflects the country’s tradition with Pastitsio – a Greek pasta made of ground meat topped with béchamel sauce and cheese, Baklava – a hands-down dessert favourite – a thin layer of golden filo filled with chopped almonds and two other popular sweets which are highly recommended, Cream Kataifi and Galaktoboureko.

Experience and delight in this journey to Greece which will take place at Hotel Equatorial Ho Chi Minh City’s Chit Chat at the Café, on November 7-10 at 6:30pm to 10pm. Prices start from VND878,000++ ($38.17) per adult.
