Within the framework of the conference, respected experts shed light on the potential of, and the challenges faced by, Vietnam's logistics industry. The summit also presented networking opportunities for many businesses, partners, and relevant stakeholders.
At the event, many companies networked with each other around the product display booths, offering an overview of the companies involved in the logistics value chain.
In particular, Megaspace Construction JSC, under Megasteel Group, is a multi-industry corporation specialising in the development of modern logistics warehouses and high-quality factories.

In addition, the group also offers products related to high-quality steel structures and covering systems, along with modern anti-leak technology for warehouses and factories, at competitive prices.
Megasteel Group has proven its reputation and capacity. The group has implemented more than 500 projects in China and across Southeast Asia, with a construction area of more than 15 million square meters and a repeat customer rate of more than 75 per cent.

Likewise, UB-Smart Solutions also showcased its advanced smart manufacturing and logistics technologies at the summit. As Vietnam is embracing Industry 4.0, UB-Smart Solutions stands as a catalyst for change.
Hawke Tan, group CEO of UB Malaysia said, "We believe that Vietnam is a booming market that is attracting many players. UB Malaysia has experience providing solutions for logistics ecosystems. We focus on smart manufacturing and smart warehouses, which are the beginning of the logistics ecosystem."
"There are countless companies investing in Vietnam that come from mature markets, especially China. So we want to share the smart manufacturing and warehouse technology here, thereby contributing to developing the industry and bringing it to maturity," he added.
Logistics is an important service industry in the structure of the national economy. The industry plays a supporting role, connecting and promoting the socioeconomic development of the whole country.
It needs to be developed into a high-value sector that is associated with the country’s production, import, export, and trading activities, as well as IT and transport infrastructure development.
The government aims to develop the logistics service market, focusing on improving competitiveness. It will make the most of the country's geographical advantages, strengthening connectivity to build Vietnam into an important logistics hub in the region and developing logistics in association with sustainable supply chains. Attention will also be paid to improving the quality of human resources and promoting digital transformation and technology.
Le Trong Minh, editor-in-chief of VIR said, "The path ahead for Vietnam's logistics industry is promising, but it also comes with challenges. Despite huge potential and ample opportunities, there are still both subjective and objective barriers. If we don't take measures to address these issues, it will be difficult for Vietnam's logistics market to unlock its full potential."
High logistics costs are attributed to the lack of both comprehensive planning and human resources. As these problems cannot be addressed overnight, they must not be delayed. There is mounting pressure to reshape the logistics industry due to geopolitical tensions, inflationary pressure, businesses' greening efforts, technological advances, and booming e-commerce.
"The path to developing the logistics industry will be delayed if there is no action to identify the challenges, remove the bottlenecks, capture new trends, and take advantage of possible opportunities," Minh said.
