Since the end of December, Nestlé Vietnam has donated more than 17,000 nutritional food products worth nearly VND600 million ($23,923) to policy beneficiaries and underprivileged people through organisations such as the Vietnam Women's Union, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province, the Dong Nai Federation of Labour, the Red Cross Society of Tan Phu District (Dong Nai), and the Ho Chi Minh City Student Assistance Centre.
Nestlé Vietnam has also cooperated with the Vietnam Women's Union to present Tet gifts to 20 Vietnamese heroic mothers, 200 policy families, 200 orphans, 50 local Women's Unions, and seven border posts in the provinces of Bac Kan, Kon Tum, Lai Chau, Long An, Nghe An, Phu Tho, Phu Yen, Quang Ngai, Tay Ninh, and Vinh Long.
These efforts have contributed to sharing love and spreading the spirit of humanity during the traditional Tet holiday. This is one of the annual activities carried out by Nestlé Vietnam and the Vietnam Women's Union as part of their strategic cooperation, that started in 2020.
As part of the "Supporting disadvantaged students during the Lunar New Year - 2025" scheme launched by the Student Assistance Centre, Nestlé Vietnam also presented practical gifts to provide a more fulfilling holiday for children.
In Dong Nai, Nestlé Vietnam, together with the Dong Nai Federation of Labour and the For the Poor Fund Mobilisation Committee under the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, presented gifts to workers living in difficult circumstances, families that made revolutionary contributions, policy beneficiaries, and poor households in the area.
The presentations on the occasion of Lunar New Year are part of the “Nestlé Cares” initiative – a corporate social responsibility effort aimed at making positive contributions to the community. As a world-leading company in the food and beverage industry with the motto "Creating Shared Value", Nestlé respects the principles of sustainable development in production and business associated with the development of local communities where the company operates.
