The programme is implemented in collaboration with the Department of Primary Education, Ministry of Education and Training (MoET).

Nestlé Vietnam’s MILO brand has donated three computer labs at primary schools in Yen Bai province (Khao Mang Primary Ethnic Boarding School and Pung Luong Primary Ethnic Boarding School) and Lao Cai (Ta Giang Phin Primary Ethnic Boarding School). Since its inception in 2021, the programme aims to improve the quality of life of everyone, for today and for future generations.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Nestlé MILO granted three computer labs to three schools, alongside 20 laptops for each school. The donation aims to create better conditions for students, teachers, and schools to access IT, improve computer skills, and create new and interesting learning experiences.

Thus, mountainous schools can gradually keep up with national school standards as well as digital school models. In addition, Nestlé MILO also presented three schools with nearly 2,000 sports bags, over 600 backpacks, hats, school supplies, more than 1,000 basketball crossbody bags, and more than 2,000 sets of football goals.

Thai Van Tai, director of the Department of Primary Education under the MoET, said, "The donation of computer labs to mountainous schools is part of the Nutrition and Physical Education Programme for Primary Students. The MoET collaborates with the MILO brand and Nestlé Vietnam to implement the project with a view to improving the learning experience for both teachers and students in mountainous areas. We have made a proposal to the local Departments of Education and Training to donate computer labs for teachers and students so that the beneficiary schools will make efficient use of the devices, thereby ensuring the effective implementation of the programme."

Le Bui Thi Mai Uyen, director of the MILO and Dairy brand under Nestlé Vietnam said, "We are honoured to accompany the Ministry of Education and Training in the Nutrition and Physical Education Programme for Primary Students to bring practical values to students across the country, especially in disadvantaged areas. Computer labs not only enable students to gain new knowledge but also arouse their passion for learning and contribute to building resilience both mentally and physically, thereby creating a more dynamic and resilient Vietnamese young generation."

Nestlé MILO has made a long-term commitment to accompanying the Vietnamese young generation to promote their well-rounded development, both physically and mentally. To realise its commitment, Nestlé MILO has implemented many initiatives over the past three decades.

The Nutrition and Physical Education Programme for Primary Students aims to raise nutrition knowledge and encourage students to participate in physical activity. The Dynamic Vietnam Programme aims to support school fitness and sports movements such as the Phu Dong Health Association, swimming, athletics, aerobics, football, basketball, and Vovinam.

Through these initiatives, Nestlé MILO wishes to promote sportsmanship and health training for children. In 2021-2023, through the Nutrition and Physical Education Programme for Primary Students, 33.4 million primary school students in more than 34,000 schools across the country were supplemented with nutrition and participated in physical activities.

In the 2023-2024 school year, the programme has also awarded a computer room with 50 laptops to Bang Thanh II Primary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities in Bac Kan province.
