Vietnamese budget carrier VietJet announced a new flight connecting Australia's Melbourne with the capital Hanoi at the Vietnam - Australia Business Forum 2024 on March 5 with the participation of Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the Honorable Jacinta Allan - premier of Victoria.
Flights from Hanoi to Melbourne will depart on Mondays and Fridays at 5.10pm (local time). Flights from Melbourne to Hanoi will depart on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 7:30 (local time). The new route will provide convenient and easy travel opportunities for people and tourists between the two cities, two countries, and two continents.
Melbourne is known as the cultural capital of the “Land of Kangaroos” with a population of over five million, and has been voted among the top most liveable cities in the world for many years.
Hanoi, dubbed the “City for Peace”, is well-known for its distinctive urban culture, diverse cuisine, rich historical heritage, its role as the economic, cultural, and political centre of Vietnam.
