Vsmart phones made in Vietnam will be distributed in Spain

Vsmart is the first Vingroup product introduced in Europe, showing the group’s ambition to bring Vietnamese technology to the international market. This was announced by VinSmart at the press conference on launching the Vsmart brand in Spain.

“Spain is an extremely important market for Vsmart as it is the first foreign market of Vsmart because of our strong partnership with BQ – Spain’s leading technology company in which Vsmart currently owns 51 per cent of the shares. Spain will also be Vsmart’s gateway to conquer the European market,” said Nguyen Thi Bich Phuong, deputy general director of marketing at Vinsmart, at the launching ceremony in Spain.

Vsmart products will be distributed through nearly 90 of Media Markt, a leading consumer electronics retailer with more than 35 years of experience and presence in 13 countries. The four Vsmart phones to be distributed in Spain are Joy1, Joy1+, Active1, and Active1+. Active 1+ and Joy 1+ will be introduced in the first stage, followed by Active 1 and Joy 1.

Active 1+ is the most advanced model of Vsmart at present and comes in three colours: emerald green, black, and rose gold. Active 1+ has a metal frame, glass back, and "rabbit ears" screen, and is equipped with SnapDragon 660 chip with 6GB of RAM. The camera has a selfie camera and dual-screen camera that achieves high image quality even in low light conditions. The glass screen is the highlight of the design of Active 1+. It is a very sturdy phone with perfectly designed curves.

Joy 1+ comes with plastic glass, "rabbit ear" screen, Snapdragon 430, 3GB RAM. In particular, Joy 1+ has 4000mAh battery capacity – the longest battery life in the series. Joy1 + is available in cobalt blue and black.

Vsmart products have passed nearly 2,500 standard tests, including hardware tests, mechanical tests, and software tests at BQ’s laboratory in Spain and the Vsmart factory. In addition, Vsmart is tested in the laboratories of Qualcomm, the best supplier of semiconductor chips in the world today.

Vsmart phones are expected to start the development of an ecosystem of electronics, intelligent technology, and AI-enabled devices that contribute to making life more convenient for Vietnamese people. After mobile phones, Vsmart will produce smart electronic products, Internet of Things (IoT) products like SmartHome and SmartTV solutions.

VinSmart also connected with firms providing domestic and international chipsets, components, and accessories to directly control the production chain from design through development to assembly to ensure the quality of its smart electronic devices before they reach the market.
