Korean star Ji Chang-wook to visit Vietnamese fans

The Republic of Korea (RoK)’s Ji Chang Wook of hit movie “Empress Ki” is scheduled to arrive in Hanoi in August in order to meet with his Vietnamese fans and take part in a music event.

The Republic of Korea (RoK)’s Ji Chang Wook of hit movie “Empress Ki” is scheduled to arrive in Hanoi in August in order to meet with his Vietnamese fans and take part in a music event.

News of the visit was confirmed on the Ji Chang-wook Vietnam fanpage on June 25. The Korean star will visit Hanoi in August to fulfill his duties as ambassador for the Vietnam-Korea music gala which is titled “Deabak concert in Vietnam 2019” and is set to be held at the My Dinh National Stadium.

The event is just one of a number of activities being held to celebrate 27 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the RoK.

During the music gala fans will have a chance to have an exchange with Ji Chang-wook.

Born in 1987, Ji Chang-wook is a renowned Korean actor. He made his acting debut in the movie titled “Smile Dong-hae”.

He then gained great popularity throughout Asia after playing the leading role in the hit movie “Empress Ki”.

Ji Chang-wook has also appeared on a number of reality shows in the RoK, including Running Man, Happy Camp, and We got married.
