Vietnam has emerged as a dynamic and sustainable hub for printing and packaging in recent years with exports exceeding $2 billion in 2024, making Vietnam an increasingly important player in the region.
According to the VPA, the printing industry is growing steadily by embracing digital transformation, sustainable practices, and new technologies, while facing various challenges and opportunities. Driven by Vietnam’s expanding economy and rising demand for printed materials, the sector’s growth rate is expected to exceed 14 per cent in 2028, rising from 12.45 per cent in previous years, before settling at just over 13 per cent in 2029.
Vietnam’s packaging industry is now focused on green growth, with progress in sustainable production, circular economy efforts, and eco-friendly packaging.
