The DPRK delegation includes Ri Su Yong, Kim Pyong He, and O Su Yong, vice chairmen of the Executive Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), as well as Defence Minister No Kwang Chol and Park Yong Nam, Gangwon Provincial Party Committee Secretary, among others.
Nguyen Manh Hien, member of the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Communist Party, Hai Duong Party Committee Secretary cum Chairman of the People's Council, was also there to welcome the DPRK delegation.
On An Phat Holdings’ side there were Pham Anh Duong, chairman of APH and chairman of AAA; Nguyen Le Trung, general director of An Phat Plastic, and other leaders of the corporation receiving the delegation. The visit took place under the framework of the DPRK-US Hanoi Summit held on February 27-28, 2019.
During the visit, the DPRK delegation discussed with chairman Pham Anh Duong and the leaders of An Phat Holdings issues of economic development, especially for the private sector, which is focus area for promotion in Vietnam. The private sector is one of the most important drivers for the country’s economic development.
Thereby, the success of An Phat Plastic and An Phat Holdings has been lauded for their significant contribution to socioeconomic development. APH has created over 4,000 jobs across the country through 12 factories and 11 subsidiaries. This is one of the remarkable achievements of private sector, one of the best cases of sustainable growth and creating a closed ecosystem for DPRK's businesses to learn from.

Duong introduced the history and achievements in production and social responsibility that An Phat Plastic and An Phat Holdings have amassed over the past 16 years.
The high-level delegation of DPRK was interested in projects under development, such as An Phat Complex and the project on restarting Dinh Vu fibre factory. At the meeting, the delegation was introduced the outstanding products of An Phat, such as biodegradable microcomputer bags, PE bags, and other environment-friendly plastic items.
The DPRK delegation also highlighted the modern production lines of An Phat Plastic, and its role in auxiliary industry, as well as training and skilled human resources development.
The visits of the DPRK delegation to An Phat Plastic and other Vietnamese enterprises are a foundation for potential co-operation between Vietnam and DPRK businesses and the two countries.

"The meeting with the DPRK delegation also helped us understand the policies and the characteristics of their market in order to make proper decisions. We are planning to expand to all countries and regions over the world. We have already got numerous South Korean clients, and in the time coming we would like to bring APH products to the people of the DPRK," Duong said.
