Herbalife Vietnam supports 64th Tien Phong Marathon National Championship

This year marks the third consecutive time that Herbalife Vietnam has sponsored the country's oldest marathon competition.

The 64^th Tien Phong Marathon attracted more than 4,000 entrants. The participants included both professional, national, and international athletes, as well as amateur runners taking part in the short, middle, and long-distance races – 5km, 10km, 21km, and 42km.

The athletes experienced one of the most unique racetracks in Vietnam, located in the high mountainous border province in the northwest of the country. They ran through the beautiful highland scenery, passing amazing ethnic villages with rich and unique cultures, and enjoyed the highland market with distinctive products from the local area.

Vu Van Thang, general manager for Herbalife Vietnam and Cambodia, is proud to support one of the leading marathons in Vietnam for the third time.

"This sponsorship is one of our long-term initiatives to support sports events, raising public awareness of the importance of regular exercise and balanced nutrition to live healthier lives. It is encouraging to see that many athletes have continued to participate in the marathon this year, including professional athletes and enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, researchers, office workers, students, and locals. We are also very proud that many of Herbalife Vietnam's independent members passionately ran in the 64^th Tien Phong Marathon National Championship," said Thang.

First held in Hanoi in 1958, the Tien Phong Marathon National Championship is a prestigious event with a long history. As a top sporting event, the race has been integrated into Vietnam's official athletics competition system for the last 52 years and is held annually at the end of March.

It attracts the nation's top talent to compete for medals in short, middle, and long distances, and it is also an excellent opportunity for amateur runners to compete alongside national athletes.
