HCL Technologies Ltd. sees Vietnam as a key growth market |
C. Vijayakumar, CEO of HCL Technologies Ltd. said that the company has actively expanded its global footprint with its next-generation services and products. Among them, Vietnam is one of the fastest-growing digital economies and is transforming its society to leapfrog into a knowledge economy.
HCL deemed Vietnam as a growth market with immense potential for its products and services. HCL began its business operations in Vietnam last July, with a goal to hire more than 3,000 local university graduates and experienced professionals over the next three years.
The company has set up its first delivery centre in Hanoi. From there, HCL will deliver advanced technology solutions to its global client base across several industries and verticals, including banking and financial services, healthcare, infrastructure, engineering, and cybersecurity.
Besides Vietnam, HCL also made some key appointments to its leadership team in South Korea and Taiwan. HCL will use its engineering and research and development services to enter these markets. Nguyen Ha Tuan, who has 20 years of experience in the IT industry, will help HCL to facilate the expansion plans.
