Through the selection process, specifically the online voting period from October 1-31, the website featured 18 product and service categories, garnering 304,816 votes for participating offerings, a 5.55 per cent increase from 2023.

Direct voting at public locations during October recorded 231,113 votes, up 5.05 per cent compared to the previous year.

Combining online and offline voting results, the total reached 535,929 votes, a 5.33 per cent increase from 2023.

Based on consumer voting results and jury evaluations, the organising committee identified 150 products from 142 enterprises, categorised into four top consumer-selected product and service rankings in descending order.

Specifically, Top 1 includes 25 products and services from 23 enterprises; Top 2 features 35 products and services from 33 enterprises; Top 3 comprises 40 products and services from 37 enterprises; Top 4 encompasses 50 products and services from 49 enterprises.

The awards ceremony is scheduled for 7.30pm on November 28 at Trinh Cong Son walking street in Tay Ho District.

Speaking at the conference, Nguyen Lan Huong, chairperson of the Vietnam Fatherland Front in Hanoi, said that while Hanoi boasts over 1,000 OCOP items, only 23 were part of the selection process. Most participating products are traditional items, with few from the financial, banking, and digital transformation sectors.

Huong urged the organising committee, departments, branches, and associations to enhance responsibility and clearly define each unit's role in increasing the proportion of new, high-tech products that align with the city's development.

She also recommended proactively discovering and identifying new, high-quality products from enterprises to invite participation, thereby promoting and advertising high-quality Vietnamese goods. Huong agreed to additional display booths at the awards ceremony and suggested that in 2025, marking 15 years of the event, the city could honour enterprises and products that have consistently participated for 15 years, recognising their ongoing commitment to the campaign.
