Worc@Q2 is Frasers Property Vietnam’s first commercial building to receive LEED Gold certification, setting a new industry benchmark and reflecting Frasers Property’s commitment towards sustainability.

Edwin Tan, deputy CEO at Frasers Property Vietnam said that the company was delighted that Worc@Q2 was awarded LEED Gold v4.1 certification for Operations and Maintenance.
“As a leading multinational real estate company focused on sustainability, we have a goal to green certify of the vast majority of our owned and asset-managed properties by 2024. Benchmarking our properties to international green building standards is part of how we embed sustainability across our assets’ lifecycle, which helps ensure our portfolio remain resilient and future-proof as well as aligned with the country’s net-zero carbon commitment,” said Tan.
Peter Templeton, president and CEO of USGBC said that the work of innovative building projects, such as Worc@Q2 Office, is a fundamental driving force in transforming the way it builds, designs and operates buildings.
“Buildings that achieve LEED certification contribute to reduced carbon emissions, lower operating costs, and conserving resources while prioritising sustainable practices and the wellbeing of its occupants,” Templeton said.
LEED is recognised as one of the world’s leading green building rating systems, serving as a global symbol of sustainability excellence.
Buildings with the LEED O+M certification demonstrate performance-oriented sustainable strategies and outcomes for building operations to improve energy efficiencies.
Worc@Q2 LEED v4.1, the newest version of the rating system, provides an enhanced framework for green building design, construction, operations, and performance.
Worc@Q2’s LEED certification is attributable to the implementation of practical and measurable strategies and solutions for achieving high sustainability performance including energy and water savings, waste sort management, and enhanced indoor environment quality.
Partnerships help accelerate action towards addressing climate issues. Worc@Q2 tenants are regularly engaged to build stronger awareness and understanding of sustainability. Green practices with regulations for green building requirements have been introduced to create a sustainable and productive workplace environment for tenants.
Most tenants at Worc@Q2 are currently on green leases for the improvement of the environmental performance of the premises and the building.
Additionally, the building operations team actively supports tenant fit-outs with recommendations and guidelines for better energy efficiency performance and lower carbon building materials for a greener and better working environment for occupants.
Green certification is an important aspect of Frasers Property’s net-zero carbon journey. Frasers Property Vietnam has adopted a commitment to green-certify its entire portfolio across asset classes.
In July, Eco Logistics Centre, a ready-built warehouse development managed by Frasers Property Vietnam obtained LEED certification. Binh Duong Industrial Park, Frasers Property’s first industrial development in Vietnam is also on track to receive LEED Certification.
Additionally, its industrial and logistics expansion into North Vietnam is aiming for a minimum certification of LEED Silver.
