During this year's Lunar New Year Holiday, the Home Hanoi Xuan 2021 flower street has become a tourist attraction in Hanoi. The flower street, which opened its doors on December 26, is organised by An Khanh JVC with the theme “Rediscover the original Vietnamese New Year".

The flower street offers hundreds of species of flowers and ornamental plants. Covering a total area of nearly one hecatre, the street stretches across a quarter kilometre. Visitors are attracted by the gorgeous sunflower garden, the dreamy purple violet garden, the blooming peach trees, the beautiful pink and purple pansy flowers, as well as the fruitful kumquat garden.

In addition to admiring spring flowers, visitors can explore a series of booths featuring traditional activities like calligraphy, toy figurines (to he), Van Phuc silk, Dong Ho painting, Bat Trang pottery making, or the Chuong conical hat village.
There are also folk games imbued with the cultural characteristics of the Northern Delta region like throwing cotton balls, catching a duck while blindfolded, blindfolded drumming, Mandarin square capturing, throwing darts at balloons, water puppetry, and Quan ho singing.

In the past few days, the flower street ensured the safety of visitors by fully observing epidemic prevention regulations. The small landscape spaces are beautifully designed and airy. The organisers installed cameras to measure temperature while reminding visitors to keep their distance.

The organiser of the event said that Home Hanoi Xuan 2021 was organised for the first time in Splendora Urban Area in Hanoi. The flower street is expected to be a new spring destination for Hanoian people. Taking inspiration from the beautiful countryside with beautiful flowers and lush lawn, the street brings a peaceful and warm space for visitors to experience the traditional Lunar New Year in Hanoi.

To allow more people and tourists to visit, the flower street Home Hanoi Xuan 2021 will welcome visitors until February 21 instead of closing on Febrary 16 as planned. The organisers will continue to ensure the highest security and safety for tourists.
