Eaton expands distribution of reliable power solutions in the Vietnamese market |
The authorised distributors that have been appointed as of this year are Advanced Information Technologies Corporation (AIT Corp.), Nam Phuong Viet Technology JSC (NPV Technology), Dat Vinh Tien Co., Ltd., and Saigon Electric Co., Ltd. (SGE).
“At Eaton, we believe in helping organisations use power more efficiently and effectively to ensure that business productivity and sustainability are not compromised. Every minute of downtime could mean a loss in revenue and potential safety implications, especially in the industrial and commercial sectors,” said Gary Ang, country manager, Eaton Vietnam. “The strong networks and expertise of our partners will be most valuable as we work hand-in-hand to help make digitalisation work and support Vietnam’s growing power needs.”
With its expertise as a global multinational manufacturer and established presence in the Asia-Pacific since the 1970s, Eaton has carved a reputation for itself as a leader in power management solutions. |
In light of the new partnerships, AIT Corp. and Dat Vinh Tien have been appointed as official xEnergy licensees, and will be able to provide customers with access to Eaton’s team of experts, support, and the latest technology required to build high-performance, design-verified, LV motor control, and power distribution systems.
NPV Technology JSC will be offering Eaton’s modern low-voltage (LV) switchgear products to its end-users and network of distributions and dealerships. These include the electricity protection solutions such as air circuit breakers (ACBs), molded case circuit breakers (MCCBs), miniature circuit breakers (MCBs), residual current circuit breakers (RCCBs/RCBOs), contactors, relays, indicator light, switches, among others.
Meanwhile, Saigon Electric, one of the leading distributors for mid-voltage power equipment in southern Vietnam, will be offering Eaton’s power distribution and control assemblies to help customers enhance the safety, reliability, and efficiency of their electrical systems.
“AIT Corp. has been a distributor of Eaton’s LV products and MV switchgear for six years in Vietnam. Since last year, we have been working more closely with Eaton and have become an xEnergy partner,” said Ha Pham, deputy director of AIT Corp.
“Eaton's licensing of our manufacturing of xEnergy systems not only demonstrates AIT Corp.'s design, manufacturing, and testing capabilities but also allow us to capture more of the growing type tested assemblies (TTA) switchgear market.”
“Vietnam’s energy needs have been steadily increasing in-line with its economic growth, which has resulted in a growing demand for power management solutions that are both safe and sustainable. We’re excited to be working with Eaton to deliver the best technologies to our customers and seize new opportunities in the wake of COVID-19,” said Truong Minh Rang, general director, Saigon Electric.
Le Duy Lam, CEO, Dat Vinh Tien, noted, “The versatility and performance of the xEnergy system has certainly been impressive across a range of applications in commercial and industrial facilities. Now as an authorised xEnergy licensee, we can tap into an array of resources and work more closely with Eaton to bring customised and design-verified solutions to locations across Vietnam.”
Pham Huu Giac, general manager at Nam Phuong Viet, said, “We’re committed to providing our customers with quality products, competitive prices, timely delivery, and warranty. This partnership with Eaton will provide our customers with greater options and improve the efficacy of their projects in Vietnam.”
These announcements build on Eaton’s growth momentum in the Vietnamese market, having announced a partnership with Elite JSC, a leading IT distributor in Vietnam, as the authorised distributor of Eaton’s Distributed Power Quality (DPQ) and Critical Power System (CPS) products last month.
With its expertise as a global multinational manufacturer and established presence in the Asia-Pacific since the 1970s, Eaton has carved a reputation for itself as a leader in power management solutions. This partnership will enhance its presence in the Vietnamese market as a contributor to the country’s digital transformation and Industry 4.0 ambitions.
