The first rice trucks arrived in Ho Chi Minh City’s main warehouse to supply 1,000 tonnes of rice for the poor in over 350 quarantine areas |
Specifically, CT Group has joined forces with the Ho Chi Minh City Union of Business Associations (HUBA) and other units to purchase more than 1,000 tonnes of rice for people in 350 quarantine zones in the city.
In addition, CT Group has collaborated with the Women’s Union and Youth Union of District 4 to cook rice for the poor and assists the Department of Information and Communication to publish hundreds of leaflets and publications on pandemic prevention guidance.

As the number of coronavirus cases is rising, CT Group has made contributions to renovate the COVID-19 testing area at Pham Ngoc Thach Hospital as well as donate ventilators to other medical units.
CT Group’s staff have also made substantial efforts to support the poor to overcome the vicissitudes of the pandemic. They work in many teams to bring warmth to the poor and needy during these trying times, responding to CT Group’s call for people from all walks of life to help save the vulnerable in the city from hunger and sickness.
