From January 3 to 16, C asean, Vietnam Beverage, Thai Beverage Plc. (ThaiBev), and the Sirivadhanabhakdi Foundation are on schedule to give water filters to 15 schools in the provinces of Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, and Quang Ngai. The value of the 15 filters stands at over VND313 million ($13,200).

The programme aims to provide clean and safe water for teachers and students in schools across these three provinces in Central Vietnam, an area that frequently faces challenges due to natural disasters.

Nguyen Hai Son, a representative of Vietnam Beverage said, "Each water filter is not only a solution to basic clean water but also a practical action to support sustainable development and quality education. With these gifts, we hope to contribute to creating a safe environment and encouraging students and teachers on their journey."

According to the company, the Lunar New Year gift-giving programme is an annual activity by Vietnam Beverage and C asean to support schools in areas affected by natural disasters while contributing to the creation of a sustainable community.

In January 2022 and 2023, the company continued its collaboration with the mentioned organisations to donate Lunar New Year gifts and study supplies worth VND750 million ($31,600), as well as disaster response tools such as first aid kits, life jackets, and stretchers with a total value of VND375 million ($15,800) to 15 schools in Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, and Quang Ngai.

From 2019 to 2023, Vietnam Beverage has contributed over VND800 million ($33,755) as a Silver and Bronze sponsor for the charity golf tournament Swing for the Kids, organised by VIR, to support outstanding students who are facing difficulties.

In early 2021, through the Vietnam Fatherland Front, Vietnam Beverage, in collaboration with ThaiBev, the Sirivadhanabhakdi Foundation, and C asean, donated VND1.5 billion ($66,000) for the renovation of 10 severely damaged schools in Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, and Quang Ngai.

C asean, established in Thailand with its official representative in Hanoi, played a crucial role in facilitating the gift-giving initiative by connecting the ASEAN community, especially in terms of sustainable development, human resources, arts, and culture.
