The event was a traditional ASEAN music ensemble that aimed to showcase the cultural heritage of various ASEAN countries, building friendships and strengthening relationships between the member nations.
Starting in 2015 in Thailand, the event has also been held in Malaysia, Singapore, China, and Indonesia. This year the destination was Vietnam. The programme provided an opportunity for young musical artists to share, learn, develop, and ultimately preserve traditional ASEAN music.
A representative of C ASEAN said, "The event attracted 10 artists from 10 member countries and delivered an exceptional musical experience to the audiences. It was not just a simple performance, it also represented the friendship and solidarity between our countries."
C ASEAN – an entity under the ThaiBev Group, a leading beverage company in Southeast Asia and the largest in Thailand – inaugurated its Vietnam branch at the Melia Hotel in Hanoi last year. It is a non-profit entity aiming to create a platform to connect ASEAN communities, focusing on the three key pillars of business and sustainability, leadership and talent development, and arts and culture.
The band has been invited to perform in many places across Asia, especially to mark important occasions. Among C ASEAN's many activities, it aims to be a vibrant centre for those pursuing entrepreneurial endeavours, initiating social enterprises as an essential tool to create harmonious and sustainable development activities across the region.
