Bosch will participate in Secutech Vietnam 2018 on August 16-18 in Ho Chi Minh City |
The event will be held at Hall A1, Saigon Exhibition and Conference Centre (SECC) in Ho Chi Minh City, where Bosch will deliver four 45-minute sessions of comprehensive demonstration of cutting-edge technology and integrated solutions for smart transportation and smart building at Booth E20.
Secutech Vietnam 2018 is expected to welcome more than 13,000 professionals working in the industry in Vietnam and the ASEAN to share technical expertise and explore business opportunities.
For three days, Bosch will co-host the event with Minh Giao Technical and Trading Company Limited, a Bosch building technologies certified partner, to showcase modern products of video surveillance, fire alarm, public address and voice evacuation, as well as conference and professional sound systems.
Targeting the smart cities sector, with a focus on smart transportation and smart buildings, Bosch will conduct four sessions to demonstrate how the brand’s systems are interconnected and applied in real-life scenarios. Spanning 45 minutes, attendants will be able to experience Bosch’s integrated solutions through simulation models of a city.
The main highlight of the show is the proven Bosch’s Intelligent Video Analysis (IVA) system, the guard-assistant system of choice for reliable video motion detection for indoor and outdoor use.
Thanks to the next level of intelligence and robustness, extended functionalities such as license plate capturing, facial recognition, object identification, and moving direction tracking are realised. With the image processing power inside cameras or video encoders, Bosch IVA automatically recognises key events in a scene and alerts the security operators to deliver “intelligence at the edge.”
“The ASEAN’s rapid urbanisation and economic growth, with half the region’s population and a third of the buying power, are high-potential markets for new smart city and building technologies. In comparison to more mature markets, the ASEAN is poised to take advantage of the new Internet of Things technologies because they do not have the limitations of existing infrastructure. In Vietnam, for example, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Danang have just recently joined the ASEAN Smart Cities Network, pushing new smart projects across public sectors, including transportation, energy, and utilities, construction, healthcare, and education,” said Becky Vo, country head (Vietnam, Cambodia, and Myanmar), Bosch Building Technology.
She elaborated: “Bosch sees this potential, and as a leader in the industry, we will be presenting at Secutech Vietnam 2018 to introduce the latest technology and systems that can be connected seamlessly to accommodate development needs, meeting even the most challenging and demanding criteria.”
Bui Quoc Loi, director of Minh Giao Technical and Trading Company Limited, shared, “As one of Bosch’s long-term partners, we are thrilled to be able to join the 11th Secutech event. This will be a great opportunity for us to showcase our capabilities, with the support from Bosch, to capture potential smart city opportunities on the market.”
Bosch will also participate in Smart Solution Vietnam on August 17, within the framework of Secutech Vietnam 2018, to present on detailed solutions for smart transportation and smart buildings.
