Muong Thanh Group has unveiled a nationwide programme to celebrate Vietnam’s National Day, incorporating cultural elements into guest experiences across its properties.

Running from August 1 to September 6, the campaign, titled '80 Glorious Years of Vietnam - Proudly following in Muong Thanh’s footsteps', covers the group’s network of 63 hotels and eco-resorts. It commemorates the anniversary of September 2, 1945, when President Ho Chi Minh proclaimed independence in Hanoi's Ba Dinh Square.

Throughout the campaign, all Muong Thanh properties are being decorated in the red and yellow colours of the national flag, creating a consistent visual theme across reception areas, lobbies, bars, and buffet spaces. Each location features a tribute corner for guests to write messages to the nation. Mini exhibitions display archival images of military parades at Ba Dinh Square, while QR codes provide access to an audio recording of the Declaration of Independence.

In Hanoi, the centre of official National Day events, the group is supporting the community with water stations, hand-fan distribution, and activities on its digital platforms. The company said these efforts aim to help the celebrations run smoothly.

Established more than three decades ago, Muong Thanh has developed from a domestic hotel operator into a diversified group with activities in urban development, education, and healthcare. The company positions its hotels as accommodation providers and as venues that showcase Vietnamese culture. Its properties have hosted various political, economic, and diplomatic events, underscoring the role of hospitality infrastructure in national and international engagements.

The current campaign also includes internal activities for employees. An internal video competition, sharing the theme of the public campaign, invites staff across the network to submit entries highlighting their professional commitment and national pride.

"Love for our homeland is not confined to slogans. It starts from the smallest actions, the daily dedication to work, and the contributions we each make," a Muong Thanh representative told VIR.

Muong Thanh says that its hospitality operations follow strict service standards designed to deliver consistent quality while incorporating Vietnamese design features and traditions.

"Our operations are built on rigorous service standards to ensure consistency, while integrating Vietnamese design elements and traditions," said the representative. "This approach underpins our strategy to expand regionally and globally as a Vietnamese-owned brand, and as the largest private hotel chain in Indochina, we see the National Day campaign as an important opportunity to strengthen our brand presence."

For visitors, the offering combines historical displays, interactive features, and event-day support. For employees, it incorporates engagement initiatives designed to reinforce service values. The group said that the campaign offers a platform to communicate its focus on heritage, service quality, and community involvement in a manner consistent across all locations.

The group’s initiative reflects a wider trend in the tourism sector, in which operators incorporate cultural content into services to enhance visitor experience and brand identity.
