The seminar attracted the participation of more than 100 representatives of companies from both countries.

At the seminar, South Korean and Vietnamese speakers held presentations on issues surrounding the Free Trade Agreement (FTA). Delegates and participants also had the opportunity to freely discuss, pose inquiries, and listen to the responses to related issues.

“We hope that the seminar will help enhance economic relations between Vietnam and South Korea by helping enterprises from the two countries take advantage of the VKFTA. KOTRA Hanoi VKFTA Supporting Centre promises to do its best to support them and provide them with comprehensive FTA-related services, such as those related to tariffs, customs, product specific rules, and consultation on non-tariff barriers," Kim Ki Joon, chairman of KOTRA South East Asia and Oceania and director general of KOTRA Hanoi, said.

This seminar was an opportunity for delegates and participants to gain a better understanding of the new procedures and regulations on the issuance of certificates of origin in FTAs in general and the VKFTA in particular.

At the same time, they are able to interact directly with the representatives of relevant agencies to present their views and make practical recommendations. These initiatives bring government agencies a more comprehensive view to improve the legal framework and necessary mechanisms to support businesses in maximising the benefits of the VKFTA.
