To create a scientific playground for young engineers and architects in the country, and encourage and honour their initiatives towards sustainable construction, especially projects for the community, INSEE organised the annual INSEE Prize competition, which is now in its 15th year.
The INSEE Prize is an opportunity for participants to apply their knowledge into practice, and accumulate experience for their future careers. The winning group will be supported by INSEE Vietnam to realise their first dream project, contributing practical value to society.
Over the course of 15 years, the INSEE Prize has reached over 21,000 students, and received 3,556 ideas. To date, INSEE has realised nine projects by winning groups through direct investment and the mobilisation of VND13.7 billion ($578,000), delivering real benefits to more than 5,100 people across the country.
By participating in the INSEE Prize, students can bring their project ideas forward and receive advice and suggestions from leading experts in the construction and sustainable development industry. This can help them perfect their dream projects in the most practical way and directly solve specific social problems. Besides this, the candidates also have the opportunity to receive valuable prizes.
After running for more than seven months, the INSEE Prize 2023 received more than 150 high-quality and creative ideas from students nationwide. Through the competition rounds, the five best projects convinced the jury council to award them the ticket to the final round thanks to the practical value they could bring to the community.
