INSEE Vietnam champion in 2022 Top 50 Corporate Sustainability Awards

To be selected for this award, participants must fully meet the rigorous criteria of the Corporate Sustainability Awards indices, which are built as a corporate measure of value and are based on standards of sustainable development in the economy, the environment, and society.

Over 28 years of development, INSEE Vietnam has invariably strived to balance sustainable development and business activities in order to bring value to the Vietnamese people and contribute to national economic development and the global environment.

In addition to the aim of bringing green cement products with outstanding quality, INSEE also sets a target to control emissions in its production stages and throughout the products' life cycles.

In particular, INSEE Vietnam is a pioneering company whose entire product portfolio holds the Green Label certificate certified by the Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC).

The Green Label certificate for INSEE Vietnam Cement products is the result of a strict and comprehensive evaluation process to meet the high standards of SGBC.

Furthermore, INSEE has become the first cement company in Southeast Asia to achieve the international Environmental Product Declaration certificate.

It is deemed a serious commitment for the company to control and reduce the negative impacts on the environment that can be caused by the products and services in this industry. The company is committed to transparently and completely providing the required reports.

INSEE focuses not only on improving technologies to optimise raw materials and control emissions. It also ensures its compliance with the legal regulations in Vietnam and other international standards and on activities for the conservation of biodiversity.

In the past, INSEE has developed projects to restore mining sites and carried out plans for biodiversity protection, including projects to support the Phu My Wetland Nature Reserve and establish the Kien Luong Karst Nature Reserve in the Mekong delta province of Kien Giang in alliance with the International Union for the Conservation of Nature in Vietnam.

INSEE also places key importance on its Social Responsibility pillar. The company has been implementing policies and activities in accordance with SEDEX/SMETA standards for businesses to ensure the legal rights of employees to comply with current Vietnamese labour laws.
