Hanoi to host concerts at My Dinh National Stadium

Hanoi has approved two “Anh trai says hi” concerts at My Dinh National Stadium following a proposal by the city's Department of Culture and Sports on December 2.

The “Anh Trai Say Hi” Hanoi concerts will take place on December 7 and December 9. The concerts are large-scale cultural and artistic events attracting significant youth audience interest, thus requiring meticulous organisation ensuring safety, public order, fire prevention, and strict control measures.

Deputy Chairperson of Hanoi People's Committee Vu Thu Ha signed Document No.4032/UBND-KGVX regarding the music event organisation. The document also assigns specific tasks to relevant departments for event coordination.

To ensure safe and successful programme execution, Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Department of Culture and Sports as the primary responsible unit, tasked with coordinating event organisation, reviewing documentation, obtaining legal permits, and guiding the organising unit to comply with regulations.

Simultaneously, the Department of Culture and Sports proactively monitors the event organisation deployment to ensure compliance with legal regulations and city standards; controls the implementation of programme contents and assurance plans according to the dossier and approval documents; detects and promptly handles any emerging situations or violations, and reports to the Hanoi People's Committee for review of matters beyond its jurisdiction.

The Hanoi People's Committee assigns Hanoi Police to take the lead, coordinate with relevant agencies, inspect, verify, and guide units in developing specific and detailed security and safety plans for the event venue; proactively prevent and resolve any potential situations without being passive or caught by surprise.

Additionally, Hanoi Police will coordinate with the Department of Transportation to manage traffic flow and ensure traffic safety in the area surrounding the event.

The Department of Transportation will coordinate with Hanoi Police, Nam Tu LiemPeople's Committee, and related units to implement traffic flow management, ensure traffic order and safety, guide parking locations around the event area, and prevent congestion before, during, and after the event.

The committee will coordinate with relevant units to guide the event organisers in ensuring security, order, traffic safety, environmental sanitation, and urban landscape according to management levels, and manage vehicle parking at the event site in accordance with regulations.
