The four-day OCOP festival, hosted by the Hanoi Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion (HPA), wrapped up in My Duc – a suburban district of Hanoi – on November 13.

The event included 85 booths operated by businesses from 14 provinces and cities, including Hanoi, Hoa Binh, Dien Bien, Ha Giang, Lao Cai, Thai Nguyen, Nghe An, Danang, Lam Dong, and Quang Ninh, among others.
Businesses displayed and promoted agricultural products, processed foods, handicraft items, traditional crafts, OCOP products, and more. They were all packaged and labelled with a traceability stamp.
The festival also featured traditional art performances, folk games such as Cheraw dancing, and painting, all while promoting cultural exchange among ethnic groups.

The festival brought many opportunities for businesses to promote their products to consumers. Participant businesses also had opportunities to network, cooperate with other exporters and raw materials suppliers, and build tours to the special national relic sites of Huong Son.

Speaking at the opening ceremony on November 11, deputy director of the HPA Bui Duy Quang said the festival is expected to promote agricultural products, processed foods, OCOP products, and handicrafts, as well as the traditional villages around Hanoi and in other localities.
Le Van Trang, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of My Duc district said the festival is considered a timely encouragement to promote trade, production, and tourism programmes in My Duc district in particular and Hanoi city in general.
