According to Torben Minko, GBA Oktoberfest is a cherished occasion for fostering friendships and development opportunities.
He stated, "The year 2025 will mark 50 years of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Federal Republic of Germany. This bilateral strategic partnership continues to strengthen across all fields, with cultural, economic, trade, and investment connections being key objectives."
"We will strive to elevate the original Oktoberfest in Vietnam and spread the unique cultural values of Germany across the country," Torben added.
Peter Kompalla, chief representative of the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam, emphasised that this year, Oktoberfest will once again be a perfect event for establishing valuable partnerships.
He shared, "Oktoberfest 2024 is one of the most anticipated events of the year in Vietnam. It is an occasion when we can celebrate German-Vietnamese cultural exchange alongside regular business events. The festival brings together the German, Vietnamese, and international business communities to share joy and celebrate German-Vietnamese culture with colleagues, partners, and friends."
Last year's festival was a resounding success, with over 10,000 attendees and 20,000 litres of beer served across three venues in Hanoi, Da Nang, and Ho Chi Minh City, solidifying its position as the largest beer festival in Southeast Asia.
This year, the festival will continue to deliver a vibrant Bavarian atmosphere, with explosive performances from the famous O’zapft band from Germany and Austria. Additionally, traditional dishes prepared by a German chef will be offered, along with a wide selection of premium German craft beers and non-alcoholic beverages, all served unlimited throughout the festival nights.
The nightly raffles this year promise unprecedented prizes. Oktoberfest 2024 is set to deliver an outstanding German cultural festival, offering numerous exciting and unmissable experiences.
Lauro Hildebrandt of JW Marriott Hotel said, "German Oktoberfest is one of the most anticipated annual events in Vietnam, where we welcome everyone with top-quality beer, authentic cuisine, vibrant music, and a variety of entertainment activities. Join us for this special event, where we will all come together in a joyful atmosphere to create unforgettable memories."
