“As we enter the 34th edition of Oktoberfest in Vietnam, we are proud to continue this long-standing tradition and bring the authentic spirit of Bavaria to three cities across the country. We are especially pleased to see the festival continue to grow and evolve, while remaining true to the values of community, connection and cultural exchange that have defined it over the years. We look forward to welcoming our members, partners, friends and guests to another memorable Oktoberfest season,” said Ziehe.
GBA Oktoberfest has been celebrated in Vietnam since 1992. Over the years, it has evolved into a much-anticipated annual gathering that brings together the German business community, local guests, and international visitors through a shared celebration of culture, food, music, and connection.
The 2026 Hanoi edition is proudly co-hosted by GBA, the Delegation of German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (AHK Vietnam), and JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi, under the patronage of the German Embassy in Hanoi and the German Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City.
Following the record-breaking success of GBA Oktoberfest Vietnam 2025, which welcomed more than 11,000 guests and served over 25,000 litres of beer, the festival continues its momentum in 2026, bringing the Bavarian spirit to three major cities: Ho Chi Minh City on September 24–26 September; Danang on October 2; and in Hanoi on October 8-10.
Björn Koslowski, deputy chief representatives of the AHK Vietnam, added that the delegation is delighted to once again join and support GBA Oktoberfest Vietnam as it celebrates its 34th edition. It is a great pleasure to be part of this long-standing celebration, which brings the traditions, culture and spirit of Germany closer to communities and friends across Vietnam.
