This is his third live show in his career after Music of the Night in 2009 and Thien Thai (Paradise) in 2011. Unlike the two previous shows, the new concert under the name “Dau An” (milestone) will be held in a sports hall instead of theaters, and will be broadcasted live  on VTV9, VTV Hue, Lam Dong Television and other provincial channels.

Tuan aims to bring semi classic approachable to more audiences. Dau An will consist of around 14 acts featuring 20 songs varied from pop, classic and bolero to Broadway-style musical. Composer Hoang Nha will be music director for the show with the participation of popular artists including Vietnam Idol 2010 winner Uyen Linh and dance sport athlete/judge/TV host Khanh Thi.

Especially, he will cover The Phantom of the Opera in new style with the cooperation of soprano Ngoc Tuyen from HCMC Ballet Symphony Orchestra and Opera and popular Vietnamese Australian magician Petey Majik Nguyen.

The sports hall will be turned into a mysterious theater and Petey Majik Nguyen will make Duc Tuan disappear on stage.

Tuan will cover some musical pieces and pop songs with dance performances and a choir of 100 people will support him in bolero songs. Tuan is a singer who has followed a hard-to-hear genre of music, semi classic, for years. He has been known for bringing Broadway musicals closer to local audiences. He has performed pieces by late musicians Pham Duy, Trinh Cong Son and Tu Cong Phung.

In 2009, the 34-year-old singer released an album in English named Music of the Night featuring 11 tracks from world acclaimed musicals like Notre Dame de Paris, The Phantom of the Opera, and Les Miserables. It was recorded and mixed in Canada under the baton of English conductor Paul Beteman.

The program is organized by KMedia and Vietnam Television Center in HCMC and Hao Hao instant-noodle brand.
