BrightCHAMPS Vietnam announced to invest close to $10 million within the next two years in Vietnam.

English communications platform Schola has been renamed BrightCHAMPS Vietnam, to mark the completion of its acquisition by BrightCHAMPS, according to a press release in late August.

BrightCHAMPS Vietnam country head and co-founder of Schola, Nhu Tran Le Thanh, said, “BrightCHAMPS Vietnam aims to successfully run 20 offline hubs by May 2026, 10 each in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. With over 23 million K-12 students, our country’s strong emphasis on education, and the Ministry of Education and Training’s active push to integrate more technology into classrooms, we are confident of achieving this goal.”

BrightCHAMPS Vietnam has also announced a $10 million corpus to set up these centres and hire and train local and international staff in global best practices. Additionally, the company will invest heavily in working with local educational institutions and government bodies to integrate future-ready skills into existing educational frameworks.

It will provide scholarships to deserving students, and Schola’s students and parents will now have equal access to BrightCHAMPS’ pool of high-quality global educators – the same as its students in the US, UK, Australia, Canada, and all other 30+ markets.

BrightCHAMPS Vietnam will also foster more high-quality collaborations, such as the global entity’s recent partnership with Harvard Business Publishing Education to enable more students to access Harvard ManageMentor courses at no additional cost.

Currently, Vietnam is the second-largest global market for BrightCHAMPS and a crucial element within the company’s aim is to be the biggest co-curricular institution in the world in 2027.

In addition to the English language classes that made Schola a household name in Vietnam, BrightCHAMPS also offers online, offline, and hybrid classes in entrepreneurship, AI, coding, financial literacy, robotics, and Vedic Maths for children from 6 to 16 years of age.
