BEST Inc. enters Vietnam with advanced express delivery services

BEST Inc. launched its express delivery services as the next step in its offensive in Southeast Asia

On October 11, 2019, BEST Inc. (NYSE: BEST) announced the official launch of its express parcel delivery and logistics services in Vietnam with a kick-off ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City.

BEST’s entry into Vietnam follows its launch of nationwide express delivery services in Thailand earlier this year and marks another significant step for the company’s expansion into Southeast Asia.

BEST’s expansion in Vietnam is supported by the company’s breadth of technology expertise, flexible asset-light network, and approach of working with local franchise partners. BEST will operate a total of seven sortation centres across the country.

Currently, the company is building a flagship sortation centre in partnership with BW Industrial in Ho Chi Minh City, which is expected to be completed in April 2020. The 20,000 square metre facility will have cutting-edge automation including high-speed automated sorting lines and dimension-weight-scanning system. It will also offer BEST’s smart warehousing services.
