The annual BCI Asia Awards, now into its 18th year, has been taking place in seven Asian countries and territories: Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.
Beyond recognising developers and architecture firms that are building and designing the greatest volume of buildings in the seven markets, the BCI Asia Awards aims to encourage the creation of socially responsible architecture.
Celebrating 18 years of building and design leadership, BCI Asia Awards remains one of the most coveted awards in the regional building industry while serving as a platform for domestic and international networking among elite architecture firms, property developers, manufacturers and service providers.
The BCI Asia Top 10 Developers and Architects Awards will also be bestowed at the awards ceremony.
The Top 10 Architects/Developers are identified as the firms with the greatest aggregate value of projects under construction during the last full calendar year by the extent of their sustainability and confirmed green building ratings.
The criteria for the Top 10 Architects also include projects from the pre-tender stages to recognise early-stage Green design efforts.

With soaring portfolio values, the BCI Asia Top 10 Awards has gained traction and prominence in recognising the architects and developers that are an integral part of the industry.
The FuturArc Prize (FAP) 2023, an international green design competition for architecture professionals and students alike, which was held from October 2022 to February 2023 with the theme of Cross-Generational Architecture.
The theme explored the rapid change of societal compositions throughout Asia, asking entrants to envision sustainable design solutions for future generations amidst ongoing climate and planetary challenges.
Over 300 participants from around the globe took part in the 2023 cycle. The jury panel comprised experts in sustainable design and planning from various countries, including Nan Chyuan (Singapore); Miya Irawati (Indonesia); Tan Loke Mun (Malaysia); and Quang Vũ Linh (Vietnam).
The winners and merit recipients from Vietnam will be awarded at the BCI Asia Awards Vietnam with cash prizes, trophies, certificates and international publication in the FuturArc print magazine and online platforms.
The BCI Interior Design Awards (IDA) 2023 calls for interior design projects in the theme of' Human-Centred Interiors,' awarding projects that showcase well-designed spaces that empower users to reside, engage and enrich their lives joyfully and meaningfully. The awarded designs illustrate a deep understanding of the users’ psyche, behaviour, habits and preferences.
More than 200 participants submitted their completed interior projects to IDA 2023 from Singapore, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam.
Taking part in the jury panel are notable experts in the field, namely Bee Eu Tan (Malaysia), Francis Surjaseputra (Indonesia), and Wesley Liu (Hong Kong).
The winners and merit recipients will be honoured at the BCI Asia Awards Vietnam circuit with cash prizes, trophies, certificates and international publication in the Construction+ print magazine and online platforms.
