Bayer and WOCA donated 8,000 products to frontline personnel in Ho Chi Minh City |
The care packages by Bayer Vietnam include skincare products and multivitamin effervescent tablets that can help take care of frontliners' skin when constantly wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as well as to keep them energised mentally and physically.
The pandemic situation is taking unpredictable turns and doctors and nurses are working around the clock to keep the pandemic at bay. Understanding the physical and mental challenges that doctors and all frontline workers are experiencing, Bayer provided self-care products which include 4,000 boxes of Bepanthen Balm and 4,000 boxes of Berocca Performance Mango.

Bayer delivered these care kits along with heartfelt messages thanking frontline workers, who are working at hospitals and health facilities designated by the Ministry of Health to diagnose and treat COVID-19 patients and reminding them to look after themselves and maintain their physical and mental performance.
Luigi Isabelo Dejos, head of Consumer Health Division, Bayer Vietnam, said: "As part of Bayer's vision of ‘Health for all, Hunger for none’, we recognise that healthcare personnel should also have the means to take care of themselves while working tirelessly for the common benefit of the community. Bayer deeply understands and appreciates the dedication made by the thousands of heroes in white-shirts and supporting staff in these hard days. We are also aware of how long hours of wearing PPE can cause redness and irritation. Therefore, Bayer would like to play our small part in supporting and caring for our frontline heroes with our products to help them take care of themselves and offer a measure of relief in the next challenging days.”
