In 2019, Yen Bai started to emerge as a high-end tourist destination with the appearance of many 4- to 5-star resort projects such as Le Champ Tu Le Resort, the Cultural and Sports Park project, Alphanam’s Thac Ba lake tourism and urban area, and TH Group’s international eco-tourism and resort complex.

By the end of last year, Yen Bai has not only been mentioned for its beautiful scenery and classy resorts but also an attractive entertainment spot for young people and those who love adventure, latest since Aeris Hill opened its doors to welcome guests from the end of December.

Slide along Vietnam’s longest zipline

Located right on the slopes of Khau Pha pass, one of the four highest passes in Vietnam, Aeris Hill is a pure adventure park and the right destination for holiday warriors who love to conquer challenges. Aeris Hill’s adventures consist of four main attractions, Vietnam’s longest zipline, a zorbing range, a high rope arrangement, and mountaineering. The zipline with a total length of 1.2 kilometres connects the two districts Van Chan and Mu Cang Chai with each other and represents a special highlight in this delightful park.

The currently longest zipline in Vietnam offers visitors the opportunity to enjoy the panoramic view across the beautiful Tu Le valley and experience the thrills of two slides with two levels ranging from medium to difficult. The first slide starts from a height of over 100 metres, taking visitors over two hills and the famous terraced fields in Tu Le. The second slide is shorter but has a higher slope, challenging brave warriors right next to the hot spring bamboo house of Le Champ Tu Le Resort.

To take part in the zipline slide challenge, visitors will be equipped with protective gear and receive a full safety instruction. For their own safety, visitors weighing less than 50 kilograms will be tied together with an extra one to two sandbags to ensure smooth gliding. After finishing the journey downwards, the Aeris Hill tram will bring the explorers back to the starting point. Though both of the zipline courses only take several minutes to complete, the excitement before and after the trip is guaranteed to last.

Nhat Ha, a tourist from Hanoi, commented “I tried the zipline many times in Quang Binh, Hue, and am thus really surprised by the length of the slide in Tu Le. Moreover, it’s quite beautiful and runs through many types of terrain such as terraces, rivers, and hills.”

Challenge yourself

Along with the infamous zipline, visitors at Aeris Hill can also experience other adventurous journeys such as the high rope course with 32 aerial games in two difficulties. Challenges such as walking on ropes, with the addition of wheels, and balancing across fish nets, are promising to deliver exciting moments and joy to those daredevils overcoming their limits.

Those who love climbing sports and tonnes of action cannot ignore the Rock Gem climbing course, designed to simulate the shape of a natural mountain with three levels of difficulty ranging from easy to hard, for both children and adults.

Another highlight at Aeris Hill is the fun sport zorbing – with the first pine forest zorbing range in Vietnam, boasting a length of 140m and nerve-wreaking slopes, especially suitable for those who love adventure.

After enjoying these challenges, visitors can relax and immerse themselves in the romantic scenery at the Aeris Hill bar and restaurant located in the middle of the pine forest.

Aeris Hill is open all week from 8.30am to 6pm. Ticket prices range from VND100,000 ($4.3) to VND400,000 ($17), depending on the number of games involved and whether they are purchased for weekends or weekdays.
