This memorandum signals the start of a series of activities that aim to not only strengthen VIB’s human resources capacity but also to create opportunities for knowledge exchange and collaboration.
Tran Tuan Minh, head of human resourcse of VIB, said that, ”With the vision of being the most innovative and customer-centric bank in Vietnam, VIB understands that human resources are a key factor in sustainable development strategy. This focus allows us to lead the way in technological innovations, dominate the market in key business segments, and consolidate our position as the leading retail bank in Vietnam.”
According to Minh, becoming an approved employer partner of the ACCA is a concrete example of VIB's employee-focused human resources development strategy, with policies and training systems that integrate relevant training content directly into the work processes (learning in the flow of work), helping employees quickly learn the necessary knowledge and skills for effective performance.
VIB also emphasises a culture of proactive and continuous learning, conducting annual assessments combined with coaching to help employees grow and improve themselves.
The signing ceremony acknowledged the cooperation in human resources development between VIB and the ACCA through the ACCA Job Fast Track programme. Under this programme, ACCA members and ACCA students have the chance to be considered for special admission based on the level of completion of the ACCA certificate.
VIB’s investment in human resources development is centered on high-quality initiatives that follow international standards, including modern training system operating on SaaS platform that helps employees learn anytime, anywhere with high-quality library content that is constantly updated, as well as partnerships with prestigious global organisations. This enables the bank to offer top-notch professional programmes from entities like Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, MIT, Northwestern.
Minh believed that the cooperation with the ACCA would bring significant benefits to both organisations, helping both parties achieve remarkable success together in the future.
Ren Varma, the ACCA’s director for Southeast Asia, confirmed that today’s signing event “will lead us to a balanced, prosperous, and successful shared future for VIB, the ACCA, and all our partners.”
“We can look forward to many more joint events in the future as we promote joint business programs and organise workshops, training events, and learn from each other’s expertise and extensive experience,” added Varma.
