Volvo XC60 Recharge named Car of The Year 2022

As a prestigious annual award by the VnExpress e-newspaper, the VnExpress Car Awards evaluate models based on 40 criteria which are classified into seven groups, including the exterior, interior, comfort, driving assist, operation, safety technology, and cost of use.

The judges include experts, journalists, and readers with professional knowledge. At the award ceremony in December, the Volvo XC60 Recharge scooped up both the Small Luxury Car award and Car of The Year 2022.

Car of The Year 2022 is the final award issued at the VnExpress Car Awards. The winner is selected by the Organising Committee from the top models in each segment, as well as other models in unranked segments. The winning car model needs to fulfil important criteria including meeting the current needs of Vietnamese customers, advancing the trends of the global auto industry, and shaping market consumption for the near future.

The Volvo XC60 Recharge was introduced to the Vietnamese market in 2021. Besides its elegant design, the model also possesses a slew of Volvo's intelligent safety technologies. It offers optimal performance that combines both electric motors and gasoline engines. Every detail on the car has a high level of perfection that exudes Nordic sophistication. This, coupled with an effective active safety system, helps the driver confidently and comfortably take control of their journey.
