SuperStar Aquarius docks at Ha Long Bay
The five-star cruise liner SuperStar Aquarius with 2,150 tourists and crew members on board docked at Ha Long city, the northeastern province of Quang Ninh , on November 3.
This is the first cruise ship to arrive in Vietnam under the framework of a new cooperation programme between Vietnam ’s Saigontourist and Malaysia ’s Star Cruises, which owns the luxury ship.
Under the agreement, Saigontourist will welcome 99 Star Cruises ships to Vietnam between now and April 2013.
Besides Ha Long, the ships will also call on Da Nang in the central region, bringing an estimated 100,000 foreign passengers and crew members to Vietnam from China , Hong Kong , Japan and the Republic of Korea.
