Noi Bai Airport among world's Top 100 Airports

Ha Noi-based Noi Bai International Airport has been listed amongst the world's Top 100 Airports for 2016 at the annual Skytrax Passengers Choice Awards.

Votes to determine the winners were collected from flyers around the world in the largest, annual global airport customer satisfaction survey, conducted over the course of nine months.

The Noi Bai International Airport ranked 82nd, jumping ahead by 136 steps compared with its 2015 placement.

The airport was judged the World's Most Improved Airport thanks to its improvements in service quality in recent years.

Singapore Changi Airport was named the World's Best Airport by air travellers for the fourth consecutive year at the 2016 World Airport Awards.

The Skytrax World Airport Awards are the most prestigious in the airport industry. The awards are based on 13.25 million airport survey questionnaires completed by airline customers of 106 different nationalities during the survey period.

The survey ran from June 2015 to February 2016, covering 550 airports worldwide and evaluating traveller experiences across different airport services and product key performance indicators, from check-in, arrivals, transfers and shopping to security, immigration and departure at the gate.
