As one of the leading wholesale and retail distributors in Vietnam, MM Mega Market Vietnam is consistently doing its utmost to secure the supply chain of essential goods, enabling customers to access clean and safe food at stable prices.

Accompanying local authorities, the Thai-backed company (MMVN) has proactively planned and prepared for the "new normal" to contribute to the economic recovery in the not-so-distant future.

So far, more than 1,500 MMVN employees in Ho Chi Minh City have received two shots of COVID-19 vaccines. The company is striving to become a green shopping destination, a safe place to all customers with all employees receiving Coronapass (COVID green card) in the shortest time.

As one of the leading retailers in Vietnam, MMVN is always committed to providing customers a safe, comfortable shopping experience and destination. To fulfil this commitment, since the beginning of the fourth wave of COVID-19 in Vietnam, the company has strictly adhered to the Ministry of Health’s 5K message.

Recently, MMVN has installed machines to count traffic in real-time at MM stores in Ho Chi Minh City in order to ensure safe distance between people. This control system includes cameras placed at the entrance and exit, connected to a central server to track the number of shoppers in-store.

Thanks to AI technology, it can distinguish between MM employees and customers by identifying the MM uniform. When the number of shoppers in the store reaches the permitted quantity, it will alert controllers and customers waiting to enter. The number of shoppers is also displayed on a screen at the entrance.

MMVN has also organised webinar-based coaching from prestigious doctors and experts to help employees stay healthy with knowledge on how to care for F0 relatives at home, things to know about COVID-19 vaccines, as well as safety rules when interacting with customers and colleagues at work, among others.

Besides taking the necessary preparations for the "new normal", MMVN also deeply understands the concern of customers regarding food supply and price. With their unique strength in ultra-fresh products, MMVN pursues the "from Farm to Fork" strategy for vegetables, fruit, pork, and fish so that all products are not only well-controlled, safe, and hygienic but also amply stocked. Customers can access the full range of qualified products at competitive prices.

As one of the leading retailers in Vietnam, MMVN is always committed to providing the customers a safe, comfortable shopping experience and destination.

MMVN is constantly improving its online channels by signing partnerships with service providers to enhance delivery capacity.

Besides MMVN’s three online sales channels – MM Click & Get website, Zalo OA, and Telesales – customers will now have another choice for shopping – GrabMart – under a new venture with Grab which will be launched in the beginning of October. The move helps to offer customers diverse choices in accessing MMVN products and services while ensuring safe shopping in the new normal.

Also, with a view to pushing up digital transformation and minimising direct interaction with customers, the company has been implementing diverse flexible online payment methods, such as Momo, Payoo, Zalopay (applied for online orders via Zalo), and VNpay in the near future.
