Recently, MMVN has installed machines to count traffic in real-time at MM stores in Ho Chi Minh City in order to ensure safe distance between people. This control system includes cameras placed at the entrance and exit, connected to a central server to track the number of shoppers in-store.
Thanks to AI technology, it can distinguish between MM employees and customers by identifying the MM uniform. When the number of shoppers in the store reaches the permitted quantity, it will alert controllers and customers waiting to enter. The number of shoppers is also displayed on a screen at the entrance.

MMVN has also organised webinar-based coaching from prestigious doctors and experts to help employees stay healthy with knowledge on how to care for F0 relatives at home, things to know about COVID-19 vaccines, as well as safety rules when interacting with customers and colleagues at work, among others.

MMVN is constantly improving its online channels by signing partnerships with service providers to enhance delivery capacity.
Besides MMVN’s three online sales channels – MM Click & Get website, Zalo OA, and Telesales – customers will now have another choice for shopping – GrabMart – under a new venture with Grab which will be launched in the beginning of October. The move helps to offer customers diverse choices in accessing MMVN products and services while ensuring safe shopping in the new normal.
Also, with a view to pushing up digital transformation and minimising direct interaction with customers, the company has been implementing diverse flexible online payment methods, such as Momo, Payoo, Zalopay (applied for online orders via Zalo), and VNpay in the near future.
