The two-day meeting is an opportunity for Japanese enterprises to meet directly with Vietnamese wholesalers while advertising their goods to local consumers, the event’s organiser said, adding that nearly 300 domestic wholesalers are expected to come to the event.
Sakura Vietnam, an affiliate of Japanese Sakura Group, entered the Vietnamese market in 2011 with the goal of becoming a leading provider of Japanese goods in Viet Nam. It operates a convenience store chain of the same name. To date, it has opened nine stores in Ha Noi and six franchised agencies nation-wide.
