InterContinental Nha Trang appoints new key personnel

InterContinental Nha Trang is delighted to announce new executive chef Seref Ozalp, an award-winning chef who brings a dynamic, innovative energy to the dining experience at the luxury hotel, and executive assistant manager – food and beverage Nathalie Pincet who will bring a touch of European sophistication.

Chef Ozalp brings a wealth of experience gained over twenty years working alongside Michelin Star chefs and has cooked for the Dutch and Saudi royal families, the family of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and presidents and governors the world over. He uses his British and Mediterranean heritage to deliver inspired menus with passion and draws on his extensive travels to inject culinary diversity into his creations. He is fluent in English, Turkish, and German.

Seref said, “I am pleased and honoured to be appointed as new Executive Chef of InterContinental Nha Trang. The InterContinental brand is trusted around the world for its superior, understated service and the renowned luxury its guests have come to know and appreciate. It is also with great pride that InterContinental Nha Trang announced the appointment of its new executive assistant manager – food and beverage, Nathalie Poncet.

For over twenty years Nathalie has worked for many international hotels and now returns to InterContinental having developed her skills in food and beverage, event management, hotel operations, and executive assistant roles. Nathalie cherishes her French background and adds a touch of European class and sophistication to InterContinental Nha Trang.

Regarding Nathalie’s background and philosophy on the hotel industry, she shared: “I had the amazing opportunity to start my career as part of the opening team for an InterContinental hotel at the Polynesian Islands of Oceania. This experience gave me a great start in the hotel industry. I continued to develop my knowledge by working in hotels on the Caribbean Islands, in New Caledonia, Africa, and Vietnam.”

“Working in different countries with people from different cultures is such a great human experience, enriching my personality and skills. I am very happy to be welcomed back in the InterContinental family and stay longer in beautiful Vietnam. Working closely with my team and sharing my experience with them is very important to me as I feel we can achieve more together."
