Hanoi’s 17 buildings violating fire prevention and fighting regulations have been listed again, after thorough fire inspections in the capital’s buildings.

In May last year, Hanoi Fire Prevention Department announced 79 buildings violating fire prevention system. To date, 62 buildings have been improved their fire prevention systems, 17 of them continued with subpar fire system.
According to the latest survey of the Hanoi Fire Prevention Department that was conducted during the first three months of the year, there were 1,000 cases of fire, killing 31 people across the country.
In particular, the fire at Carina Plaza in Ho Chi Minh City’s District 8 killed 13 people and caused significant property damage. The tragedy has caused alerted the public to fire safety in their buildings in the past weeks.

- Hanoi Construction Investment JSC’s apartment building in Hai Ba Trung district’s Thanh Luong ward.
- Ha Tay Trading JSC’s 89 Phung Hung apartment building in Hadong district’s Phuc La ward.
- Gia Lam Investment and Construction JSC’s apartment building to sale for Gia Lam district’s policemen in Long Bien district’s Thuong Thanh ward.
- Thang Long Co., Ltd.’s CT17 apartment building in Long Bien district’s Ngoc Thuy ward.
- The Ministry of Public Security’s housing for government employees in Thanh Tri district’s Thanh Liet award.
