On April 26 in the southern province of Binh Duong, Vice Minister Schuiling visited a milk factory run by FrieslandCampina Vietnam, which produces the Dutch Lady, Friso, Fristi, and Yomost brands.
During her trip to the factory, she highlighted FrieslandCampina’s continued development. The expansion of the company is a testament to the ever-growing bilateral relations between the two countries. In recent years, economic cooperation has been growing incessantly and the Netherlands has always been one of the largest European investors in the country.

On its bright journey of over 25 years, the sustainable development of FrieslandCampina Vietnam – the leading foreign-invested company in the Vietnamese dairy industry – can be summarised with the mission For Vietnam to Leap Forward and Reach Higher.
FrieslandCampina insists on education and the development of nutrition for Vietnamese children and improving people's lives through its dairy development programme.
FrieslandCampina Vietnam has strived for outstanding and flexible initiatives, including programmes to support frontline forces during the pandemic.
The company’s efforts have not only brought about positive business outcomes but also earned high-profile awards from agencies, partners, and consumers.
Schuiling said, “I am very proud to witness the sustainable development of a Dutch dairy corporation as well as the meaningful humanitarian work it has carried out in Vietnam for nearly three decades. I am confident that the 150-year-old Royal FrieslandCampina will continue to provide valuable nutrition based on Dutch quality standards.”
Richard Kiger, managing director of FrieslandCampina Vietnam stated, “In order to make breakthroughs in the future and reap the fruits of the philosophy Nourishing by Nature, the company focuses on quality, continuous improvement, and sustainable development. We see Vietnam as a key market due to its young population and strong demand for nutritious products. Consumer demands are prompting us to boost our research and development activities in the country.”
One of the first multinational dairy companies to come to Vietnam, FrieslandCampina has positioned itself as a leading producer in the local dairy industry and built credibility in the hearts of consumers. The company has two modern factories in Binh Duong and the northern province of Ha Nam, providing 1.2 million milk and dairy products annually. What the stars mean:
