KN Holdings is currently developing next-generation industrial parks with full amenities and modern transportation infrastructure.
“This will not only improve production efficiency but also create better conditions for research and innovation in high-tech fields. We hope that with government support, many high-tech products branded ‘Made in Vietnam’ will soon enter international markets,” Kiem said.
KN Holdings has committed significant investments to renewable energy projects, particularly solar power. Kiem highlighted that floating solar power projects, in particular, will help reduce pressure on land resources and contribute to the country's clean energy goals. The group also urged the government to accelerate the implementation of direct electricity trading policies to draw in international corporations and increase renewable electricity capacity in the national grid.
Pham Nhat Vuong, chairman of Vingroup, underscored the importance of education and training for Vietnam’s sustainable development.
“Improving English proficiency, not only in schools but across society, is vital for building a global civic society. VinGroup is committed to sponsoring programmes that send teachers to remote areas, giving children in disadvantaged regions access to foreign languages, which will equip them with better opportunities for the future,” Vuong said.
He also proposed that the government focus on enhancing education in technology, computer science, AI, and big data.
“With the rapid advancement of technology, Vietnam must prioritise developing human resources in these sectors to build a highly skilled workforce capable of meeting the demands of the Industry 4.0,” he added.
In the field of social housing, Vingroup proposed several solutions to improve the current situation, calling on the government to streamline administrative procedures, particularly those related to planning.
“Appointing direct investors for social housing projects will help accelerate progress and resolve financial challenges, as the current 10 per cent profit margin is insufficient to ensure business sustainability,” Vuong said.
Vingroup also suggested raising the standards for social housing to include underground parking, children’s play areas, and other amenities to enhance the quality of life for residents.
At the conference, Tran Ba Duong, chairman of Truong Hai Group (Thaco), outlined his vision for the future of Vietnam’s vehicle industry, particularly its shift towards green and sustainable practices.
He noted that as technology evolves, the auto industry is gradually moving towards greener, cleaner, and more energy-efficient vehicles. However, the transition from traditional cars to electric vehicles requires a clear roadmap for infrastructure, traffic safety, and a supportive legal framework.
Thaco Group is actively developing electric car production in Vietnam and collaborating with international carmakers to scale up production. However, Duong emphasised that the adoption of green technologies, such as electric vehicles and rechargeable battery vehicles, will require strong government support in terms of policy and infrastructure.
“We recommend that the government organise seminars to discuss the development of green and fuel-efficient vehicles in the future,” Duong said.
In addition to the vehicle sector, Thaco Group is focused on developing supporting industries, particularly in mechanics and auto components. Duong noted that Vietnam currently produces around 35-40 per cent of the auto components and spare parts used by international manufacturers.
“To strengthen supporting industries, we called on the government to support small and medium-sized enterprises in joining the supply chain, helping Vietnam become a leading manufacturer of mechanical and auto parts in the region,” Duong said.
All three corporations expressed strong confidence in the government’s direction and reaffirmed their commitment to accompanying the country on its path towards development.
