Ao Dai show connects East-West culture
The Chula Design House introduced its new collection of Ao Dai (traditional long dress) as part of the 2013 Radio Asia Conference in Hanoi on July 29.
The clothes are made with traditional embroidery and lacquer painting techniques on Vietnamese silks featuring the country’s landscape, architect, culture, culinary art, flowers and women.
Chula is a Spanish trademark launched in Vietnam by two designers Laura Fontan and Diego Cortizas, after their arrival in Hanoi ten years ago.
